aren't we so grateful to the f&ds who directly mediates our relationship with jesus christ and give us the food we need at the proper time?

As for their newsroom; it is slow, behind time on events, and gives few details if anything is mentioned at all. Don't forget the obvious spin.

They are their own worst enemy. The first times I browsed here was because there was NO information on things coming out. And I needed a Kingdom Ministry they would not give me (I was in good standing), so found out that you could find copies in the internet

I had a boss who would try everything to get you mad so you quit and were not qualified for unemployment, other than that, just walk out.

I have seen the same story with because: "I am Mormon, Buddhist, Christian, HareKrishna, Athiest" Some people ARE honest.

As for Andre; he disappeared when the comments about him here started, so I am sure someone high up PIMI reads this thing. Most of the experiences are enhanced at least, most are outright fabrications.

No Watchtower shipment

it was announced at our clam that there "was no shipment of the october study editions of the watchtower" and that they were asking if people could just use electronic or make their own copies.. is this just happening in ohio, or did you hear the same thing?.

used to happen to me around Christmas, at least it was late. I haven't found a 2019 study yet. Are they waiting for a rollout?

Here you are taken from multiple lists. Supposed to be only once a year, but I got 2x once. It is an interesting thing, and I think I am fair minded. As for excuses, it must be a doctor note, or moved. I wonder what they do with dead people that do not send in death certificates

here it is once a year max, unless they goof and you didn't save proof. there are health exclusions, but that takes a doctor note. I want to see what they do if a dead person doesn't send in a death certificate, (they are expensive). It is a good experience, if you are level headed and fair minded. Claiming to be ADD or such is a pretty sure way to get called on puropose areound here, and claiming prejucide can get you a contempt citing,

If you are called and can go do it. It is one of the obligations and privileges of a free society.

Maybe the video feeds to all the halls didn't bring in as many donations as wanted. So maybe they will go back to having a regular business meeting, as probably required in the charter.

its been a minute since posting, have been trying to put this cult in my review mirror and just live life.

but you know this beast rears it's evil head.

my wife found my crisis of conscience book and out came the horns plus i guess what she is hearing at the meetings isn't helping either.

Don't forget your money and credit card. We do not have enough medicine to store some away. Not all of us have family elsewhere, let alone in the truth. Do not forget that I will be 20 miles away at work, with collapsed bridges and riots in between me and home. There are some good people both around home and work I would team with until I could connect. BTW, the .22 will travel with me.

The usual way to take care of disasters is to get someone else to put people up in their homes, donate time and money to any rebuilding, and DO NOT specify funds for anything in particular.

There was a time during the depression that Rutherford stated "we" would all travel in caravans with clothes that never wore out (like the Israelites), and cars that never ran out of gas.

Being prepared is a good idea. But no one has ever told me what is the big danger here (no ocean or big rivers, volcano, earthquakes. And the "group overseer" is older and in more need than I.

JWs using 'apostate' phraseology?

i've mentioned before how a regular pioneer used the phrases "tight-pants tony" and "don't drink the kool-aid".

well the other week, a different regular pioneer, and elderly one in fact, was talking about the simplified watchtower being discontinued and the normal one replacing it, and she said 'i guess they're just gonna dumb-down everything'.

then too even the org itself used the words "fade" and "shun" in recent articles, words that were previously shied away from.. anybody here experienced something similar, a seeming pimi saying something that makes you wonder if they've been sneaking ex-jw 'spiritual food' on the side?.

It is hard for anyone to not have heard some of the phrases. A few JWs have a sense of humor, but most are way too "serious" to laugh at themselves. I got caught wearing every day socks.

As for the WT being directed to family........very few times do the solutions have any real value: ;study more, do FS together, never miss meeting, spend your vacation wearing a skirt, tie at Bethel. How about a solution like get enough education to support yourself and have a reliable car and home.

The present WT is maybe 6th grade level, the simplified is 3rd. And they do not seem to really know how to write at any education level. The new one (if we ever see one, I haven't found one yet) will probably be 4th or 5th, except for the big words they will forget to edit.
